Well folks when I saw the NYPD turn their backs on their Mayor at a funeral for a slain officer,what else could this be called but an act of disgrace.I mean really how can this be justified.If anything they should of turned their back on the officer who used the chock hold which killed someone.And for what?Selling cigarettes to homeless people.You would think they would have more important things to do.They should also turn their backs on the officers who just stood around and watched this act of unnecessary violence.Also what is wrong with showing an alliance with the protesters?After all many of them are the victims of these acts of violence.Also what is wrong with explaining to his biracial son to be careful when he has an encounter with police?The mayor showed no disrespect.The mayor has respect for the majority of police.However it is this 1% of officers that need to be weeded out once and for all.

The NYPD is similar to the LAPD of the 1990s.And that is not good.There has been to many incidents of abuse and torture in the last several years and this needs to stop now!However citizens taking the law into their own hands and killing police is not only horrific but makes the person no better then the very small percentage of police who commit the injustices.Solutions BODY CAMS ! This will protect both the person involved in a police stop and also the officer from any false accusations or misunderstanding.Community Policing to build trust and partnership in the community.Look to other departments that have made successes in the past 10 years on this issue.Chicago Police are a good example.The CPD has come a long way since the riots of 1968 democratic convention.Along with the diversity on the police force to represent the community,these issues can be controlled.Have a comment please post.

The law  states that one adult can mail a carton of cigarettes to another  adult.Provided that it is sent by express mail and a signature is signed by the receiving party.what IS IRONIC ABOUT THE SITUATION IS THAT I HAD THE LAW IN MY HAND RIGHT OF THEIR WEB SITE.                 One would think that when in doubt they would check with this out on their computers.Or that they would know what the laws are.Obviously thsy are to stupid and lazy to do this.I will say this however I mailed a carton in Illinois. The clerk their was not sure but she did the research and discovered that it was legal.It seems like the small town folks know what they are doing.Anyway I brought my business to UPS.No problem there and it was cheaper to.So I say if the post office cannot provide the proper service their the clerical aspect of it needs to SHUT DOWN.

Yes the saying of the title of this blog was popular in the late 60s.The outrage was over the Vietnam war.Unlike the wars of Iraq and Afghanistan,the Vietnam war was not an all volunteer military.It most likely was the main reason why there was much protest.Of course the destruction of innocent live which always happens in war was also a big factor.As we know when the solders came home many were ridiculed and that was wrong and still should be wrong today.To compensate for Vietnam  the support out troops campaign has crossed political lines and divisions.Why do these young people enlist.Well if you look at the socio economic back grounds of our solders it is mostly due to economic reasons.Only a small division of the middle and upper middle class enlist and can you blame them.Here is my concern with the support the troops analogy.Yes any one who goes in harms way should be supported during and after their service.However in the beginning of the Iraq war a country which never had anything to do with 9/11 and who never posed a threat to the U.S.,So how was this fighting for freedom but rather for the ego of vicious president and his cronies.Now once the government of Iraq was overthrown it became a hot bed for Alqaeda,Iran and terrorism in general.Then yes the troops were fighting for our freedom.Do not get me wrong all the troops even in the beginning did what they were ordered to do and had no choice.They also deserve the same support as the troops who came later.Also troops who served tours of duty in Afghanistan was different because this was the country that supported and gave a haven to Alqaeda.It is tragic that the lower social economic groups in this country need to enlist in the military to gain the same benefits as the middle and upper middles classes.

Why Senator Kirk

Senator Mark Kirk R from Illinois is known as a moderate.His track record at times shows it.However Senator Kirk voted against extending unemployment benefits.This move takes away all the grace he has earned as moderate.This is emergency spending only for unemployed citizens who are looking for work.I t is time for Senator Kirk become less political and more like a statesman who cares about his constitutes.How about it Senator?

Expand Medicde Florida

Florida republicans refuse to do this.The  point because of their hatred for our president and the federal government as a whole. Because of this  hate several premature deaths will happen.This is legal murder.Florida republicans are WRONG and they no DAMN WELL.The party of hate and insurgency.Dictatorship and Facism is alive and well in Florida.

Last night Glen Beck based his show on how he no longer wants to be an American.I say good ridden .The sooner he leave the better.The show was based on the comments New York Governor Andrew Como made stating that their is no place for right wing extremist in New York.Good for you Governor.The Governor did not say they could not voice their opinions .But if Mr Beck no longer wants to be a citizen of the United States again good ridden.

I am not talking about the great Chicago White Sox Slugger Shoeless Joe Jackson.I am talking about MSNBC host Joe Scarborough of the talk show Morning Joe.When it comes to the GOP he is always looking for loop holes to protect his fellow republicans.First right away he jumps to the aid of GOP Governor Chris Cristie saying that he believes he did nothing wrong,while praising him for the long press conference the governor gave the day after the scandal broke.Next Joe says that GOP governor Bob McConnell really did not do anything wrong because he did not break Virgina law.Implying that the Feds indicted him on an old law they had to dig up.What Joe are you that stupid!No you are not!Murder is also an old law should the states no longer enforce this law  because it is old.Okay Joe your , a conservative right wing republican,that is your problem.Please do not insult your viewers, either come up with a better defense for these guys other then the fact you like one of them and use a sad excuse for the other one.I think it is time for a new host for your morning talk show.

Greedy and Evil

Once again I am describing the ugly GOP.They really do not get it.There are hard working people out there who need there unemploymentan benefit extended NOW.It is just plain Wrong not to extended it.When republican W BUSH was in office unemployment benefits were extended without a hitch.Now because we have President Obama they add catches to it.Do not play politics with peoples lives.The GOP is a disgusting and sickening party of greed and corruption.If you support this party I need to hear from you.Remember it is nohelping out the poor that makes government big.instead it is the bloated military budget and the two wars started by W BUSH who fell asleep at the wheel when Bin Laden attacked.But republican voters just do not have the smarts to figure this out.

This Summer there was a huge traffic jam on the George Washington bridge which connects New York City To new Jersey. According to email and twitter sources this jam was political.According to emails and tweets a senior Christie appointee made a statement which said Time for some problems in Fort Lee.This was political due to the governor running for reelection and The mayor of Fort Lee not supporting Christie for governor.New Jersey democrats shame on you for reelecting him.

Okay GOP quit using those same old lame excuses about the emergency unemployment extension bill.Look at the bright side of things.First if the working unemployed have money it will be easier for them to look for work.For example gas money,money for public transportation etc.Also if they have money they will be putting money into the economy.It does not take a brain surgeon to figure this out.Next there are humane reasons.Something the GOP lacks.For example it is not right to deprive these folks of putting food on the table for their families,buying clothes for their children.and paying the rent or mortgage.One thing this country does not need is more homeless adults and children,along with more folks living below the poverty line.The story that says that if unemployment is extended people will not look for work is absurd.Let me ask senator Ram Paul who believes this.Would you rather be on unemployment?
